Polaris House Receives 2025 Innovative Program Award from the Alaska Behavioral Health Association
Polaris House is honored to announce that it has received the 2025 Innovative Program Award from the Alaska Behavioral Health Association (ABHA). This award recognizes a provider and their innovative program or approach to implementing and/or resourcing services in the continuum of care that demonstrates creativity and impact. The program has shown positive outcomes for participants and the workforce, and the provider delivering this program has offered other agencies support for implementing or learning about the innovative work accomplished.
Polaris House was nominated by fellow ABHA member Juneau Alliance for Mental Health Inc. (JAMHI) at the ABHA Fall 2025 Conference in recognition of its participant outcomes, workforce development efforts, and strong interagency partnerships.
As a free-standing Clubhouse serving the Juneau community for more than 23 years, Polaris House operates under the International Standards for Clubhouse Programs™, an internationally recognized model of rehabilitation centered on dignity, voluntary membership, and meaningful side-by-side work between members and staff.
